Not receiving all bonuses when I pay to extend play

I buy gold to use for in-game purchases, but mostly to get more moves to extend the game play. Recently, I noticed that I am not getting all of the boosters/bonuses (gummi fish, lollipop hammer, etc.) when I buy extra moves. I've come to expect those extra bonuses and, well, I >am< paying for them.
