Candy crush soda keeps crashing when I get to a new level

Every time I beat a level on my candy crush soda and go on to the new one it crashes for no reason. And when I open the game back up and try to play the new level it still crashes. The screen turns completely black and then opens back up to my iPad 2 home screen. I could really use some help with this issue.

It is compatible with my iPad 2 because I downloaded it a couple of years ago when I first got my iPad 2.
