Candy crush soda won't play offline. Facebook button flashes. Play button is unresponsive.

I got a new phone(LG G5) and Candy Crush Saga will not play when there is no internet connection. The app launches but the Facebook button flashes extremely fast and the play button does not work. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled but it didn't fix it. What am I doing wrong?
