In Candy Crush Soda, my avatar is stuck on level 719

I have progressed to level 785 in the meantime, but my avatar is stuck on level 719, making me have to skip ahead all the time. Uninstalling (on Android tablet) doesn't help and the situation is the same on facebook (Windows 10, PC). Can you somehow bring this in sync again? Thank you!

Hi MetalNerd, it seems there is an issue, but it has a workaround. For some reason the system hasn't recognised the level its currently opening you up as, as having been passed. Can you replay that level and once passed see if it moves you on?

If not, you might need to go back through past levels and look for any without stars, somewhere there is a level not showing as completed and once you have got it, it will sort itself out

Yes, unfortunately the problem still persists. In the meantime I have progressed to a much higher level and keep having to swipe over there, because the game doesn't remember my last position. I have also tried installing the game on iOS and there the situation is the same. I guess somewhere In my settings (server-side) there is something wrong.

Hi Chicken Slayer, thank you for your helpful tip, that was indeed the problem. I finished the level a long time ago (couldn't have progressed otherwise), but it somehow didn't record that. It seems a simple thing, but nonetheless I couldn't think of it myself. I replayed it yesterday and it now shows stars and all seems to be in working order. Thanks again!

Hi MetalNerd, glad to hear it worked! I cannot take credit for it though, I cannot even remember if it was the King moderator or a player that worked it out but I do look for stars on screenshots so that would have been the next suggestion and I would have seen it then

I am just glad it was that one and not a level 100s back lol.
