W10 app for Candy Crush Soda saga freezing at startup

When are you going to do something about CCSS W10 app freezing at startup? It has been like this for years now and don't answer with BS about reinstalling and about if I have memory enough (yes, I have memory enough). This is really frustrating. I've had to frequently reinstall the app and I'm getting really tired of this. You're startup sequence for CCSS is abviuosly flawed and has been so for a long time. It's still playable via the web version but I prefer the app version, having more boosters. The problem persists on installments on any computer so it is nothing special for my computer. Isn't it time to reprogram this part of the app? I'm on level 655 so have some motivation to continue using this game, but if things don't get better I will give it a pass. Don't you care about the W10 app version?

No, no connection to Facebook. Just to my King account to preserve on what level I am and my points.

Hi, I think its not so much that it might only be you having the issue, but the fact there is little communication between various departments. It might already be something the studio are aware of from the customer email support, but unless our team ask, they wouldn't always say.

I know at the moment they are having huge issues with connection...mostly windows 10 users but some devices as well. Players can't connect, or cannot see friends lists or losing progress. Are you connecting to Facebook with the game by any chance?

I will pass this over to the team again. It was on the list, and I know sometimes they don't always reply until they find an answer. Thank you so much for being patient!

The W10 app has worked for 2 weeks now since our last contact, but suddenly it has started misbehaving again. After the initial orange start screen and the "Reading..." message (my guess as the print is in Swedish) it crashes and shuts down some seconds after the first "blink" of the message. I've reinstalled the app several times and that makes no difference. I haven't installed any other programs or apps since our last contact. Tried to play it without any other programs running at the same time (except for autoruns ones) but it still won't work. I have a hard time believing that I am one of the few with this problem. Really irritating with an app that only works sporadically. Of course it's playable via the web version, but the W10 app contains so much more when it comes to boosters...

I will pass this on as I think the King team maybe need to see this.

The trouble is when its only one player having the issue and millions more can connect without an issue, it becomes harder to sort out why its happening.

Having issues from time to time. Not at the moment and for some time, but it's obvious that it's when the W10 app tries to connect to my King account and doesn't succeed it freezes. I have a 100 Mbit/s fibre line that works fine most of the time, so shouldn't be because of my local connection. Rather that the system isn't forgiving when the connection attempt for some reason fails and then it locks the app. Personally I can't see why the connection attempt to the King account so often fails. A construction/structural problem? From start of the app to playing it takes a lot of time. Couldn't this part be shortened, somewhat?
