Privacy policy updated and now I'm back at level 1?

I accidentally closed Candy Crush Soda Saga in the middle of a game (the cons of having a touch screen laptop). When I re-opened it, I saw a notice that the Privacy Policy had been updated, so I hit agree. But now I've been sent back to level 1! I was never connected to facebook, just the kingdom, but when I try to sign in, it doesn't recognize any e-mail of mine. I was in the 400 levels. Please help, I'm pretty bummed.
