Thanks again for all your feedback and for staying respectful.

The iteration we had was a work-around due to an unfortunate glitch, while the team kept working hard on a fix.

With that said, we have just managed to fix it and now you will be able to claim the throne as many times as possible. The event will still run for a day every day for the time being though.

I want to thank you all for the patience and to keep encouraging you to send feedback our way and help us make your experience better. I'll make sure we are here to read it and address it.

Hi everyone!

It looks like the pesky Bubble Gum Troll is at it again causing havoc! He has decided to temporarily change the rules and he now wants to keep his throne for longer and stop you getting his Sodalicious rewards.

What are the new rules?

You now have one chance a day to try to conquer the throne. Play the five levels to win the rewards. After crowning yourself, you will need to wait until the day after to have another shot at conquering it again.

You will not be able to sit in the throne multiple times a day. A king needs to rest!

If you have some questions around the new way the event will work for now, feel free to drop them in the comments. I'll do my best to answer each and every one of them.

The issue around Bubblegum Hill has been proven to be a bit tricky. The event is for now gone and we are working on changes to it that will help tackle this situation.

I want to take the time to thank you all for staying positive and respectful, you are such a great Community! I'd also like to apologise in behalf of the studio and to let you know that we are working our hardest to make sure that the scenario is as optimal as possible.

Hi everyone,

During the weekend we had an issue with Bubblegum Hill that was causing game crashes for many players. As a safety measure, we decided to remove the event for now to make sure that it comes back healthy.

I will close this thread and open a new one since this was related to another issue.

They just said on Facebook that bubblegum hill was causing a glitch so they had to remove it. But that hopefully it'll be back soon.....

Anyone else just get kicked out of bubblegum hill? I was in the middle of playing and it shut down, now it has disappeared altogether. What's going on???

Really? 1.128.2 was known for experiencing the BGH lockout, while 1.129.2 was known as fixed.

I also have 1.129.3 now and must have had it for several days, though I took a 3-day break from CC Soda and don't know firsthand the status right now - but given the feedback here I presume there would be much more noise if .3 did reintroduce the issue...

Hey @omarov, that screenshot isn't showing app version information.

If on Android, you should go to Settings -> Apps -> Candy Crush Soda and you'll see which version the app reports to be.

Wondering if Bubblegum Hill was eliminated with latest update??? I have not seen it this week. It's my favorite part of the game and really don't think I'd play without it.

Hi Kathy, no Bubblegum Hill is still alive and kicking. It has it's own start and end time with a specific number of hours that it is available. I had it the other day and it's gone again. It should be coming back to you at any time.

I won the crown and got dethroned, received the gold after getting it, but there's still pink tick on all the levels where I keep on seeing the people getting changed as per getting the Crown. It's been two days and I tried playing on my other phone and the same thing happened, after winning the Crown once they don't let me play again.

Bubble gum hill all levels have checks however it is doesn’t have the go to regular game message that you get when you are on the throne. How can I pen the bubble gum hill?

When I click on Bubble Gum Hill to play, all the levels are checked as if I'm the reigning King and it won't let me play.
It's been like this for several hours... please fix it.

Thanks for raising it and for keeping things tidy (special thanks to @Alessandro_S for helping out!).

This is indeed a known issue that we are currently investigating. Although you are getting the rewards once dethroned, you cannot play it again since the event stays locked.

Apologies for all the inconveniences and thanks for the patience again.

As soon as I have any update on this, I will make sure you're all informed.
