Not Receiving Gifts

When I open the Candy Crush Soda app on my Iphone, I get a message stating the following: "Oops.  Something went wrong.  We'll send your gift over in a bit."  Also, when I complete a level, it is only showing my score in the scoreboard.  How can this be corrected?

    Send and receive lives is not happening for me and i also don't have the option to invite my other friends..example. my mom and i are playing the same game, but nitty able to see each other on the map of the game. We been sending screenshots of each other's progress instead, cause we're competing with one another, lol. She tells me she doesn't see option to connect to Facebook, but i did. Please send feedback.
