Whudup everybody. My name is Joe but my friends call me Fly short for The Housefly a nickname I earnedΒ because when I was 15 years old my entire life was music and I was always the familiar face at concerts, music festivals, and raves all over the world on every continent. I was known as a social butterfly and I lived my life by a simple code that so many of us in the scene followed... PLUR - PEACE LOVE UNITY and RESPECT... but back to the nickname. I loved electronic music, especially House music, I was a 15 year old "social butterfly" spreading love and good vibes traveling the world with friends from all walks of life and these friends dropped the "butter" from butterfly and inserted the "house" from house music and The HouseFly was born. I was blessed to be accepted and loved by so many amazing people at such a young age. Before my 18th birthday I had been to over 40 countries on 6 continents, I met some of the most influential and greatest musicians in the world, I became a member of 3 different families that legally adopted me and traveled the world with me. Without them it all would never have happened. Now I'm in my 30s. I still travel. I have a bachelors degree in forestry and my career takes me back to alot of the same places I'd been as a child. I still go to as many concerts and festivals and raves as I can. PLUR is still the code I live by. I know this is much more information than most people post introducing themselves but I have a lot of extra time on my hands right now. I'm recovering from neurosurgery. I had a hemorrhagic cavernoma, a type of stroke. I lost the use of my left hand and leg but I refused to give up and accept that I wouldnt recover... and I got my miracle. I woke up one day and I could feel something was going to happen that day. For 15 hours I did nothing but think about moving my hand. I cried and cried and cussed and screamed and as I was beginning to give in my thumb started to tingle... then it moved. Days later it was my toes. Its slow going. I have good days and bad, but I'm improving. My physical therapist has me playing games to help work on my dexterity in my hand. So that is everything you never wanted to know about someone on a game message board lol. I'm always excited to meet new people if you feel you want to talk with me. I made a team if anyone wants to join. Everyone is welcome. If you read this far thank you. PLUR.
