@Yosca . Nothing brings you closer than sharing food with a friend. I live near Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. Here we have a hot sandwich called the cheese steak. It's more popularly called a Philly cheese steak. It is wafer thin slices of beef fried. Add some fried onions and globs of melted cheese. You can add other toppings like hot or fried peppers. I would have picked moonshine, an old family specialty, but it seems @WendyG78 beat me to it.

I’m going to say the southern new year’s dish. It’s black eyed peas with ham usually ham hocks, collard greens and brown gravy and corn bread. It is supposed to bring good luck through the new year. 💕👍
