@HaMa can you install skype? i was only able to get links to go from skype.. it can be set to make links open in appropriate apps
i paste my link to a nonperson in skype and then click on it myself once it appears .. the game opens (have to make sure it goes through all those screens.. have the game open and ready) click the screen and it gives you an add friend dialog.. done!
i thought skype might be the trick because microsoft owns king now.. skype is also ownwed by mirosoft so they are compatible .. i'm not sharing it on skype.. just getting the link to print onscreen so i can click on it
Intersting workaround. Personally I can't get Skype app to work like this on my Windows laptop but I'm happy that you found a way. I wasn't sure what would work for you because I was told by CM after passing on your infos that a Chromebook device is more similar to an Android device rather than a Windows device ๐
I also see Google Play Store as first suggestion in my Galaxy phone when I click on somebody's link but I found the way to make Samsung browser suggest Soda app as the right app to open the link and see the friend request correctly
This will surely be very interesting for me a week from now, when I get back from visiting my son with my (hopefully) newly installed phone. ๐๏ธ
I used to have skype for years - and then, someday it was gone. I'm sure I also have a registration with skype, but possibly with an email address which I don't have any more now. Let me first get through the installation of my new phone ... I plan to install the Soda app there and then see if it works fine. Thanks for the hint though!
@Pitty_Kitty i have to use skype to create the link because skype is a windows product and chromebook is not even like most android devices.. most games simply don't work properly on a chromebook.. it would be better to use a type of linux on a chromebook because it's so unlike other machines and operating systems
chromebook is basically a sandboxed version of android
That's great ๐ I have skype installed on my pc but not matter what I did to make it have access to social link, my pc would prefer I use other apps instead. And even then I can't use them to add people, only invite them with my link
It's difficult to deal with social link use in the current situation when it doesn't work the same way for all supported Soda apps on different devices
