How about banking lives?

How about making things a little more equitable. When you run out of lives, and you are asked if you want to buy more, why don't you get to bank the ones you don't use. Far too often, I only need one more life to win the game, but yet I have to spend 10 gold bars to buy 40 lives. I lose 39 lives that I paid for! This would certainly make me more acp to play more.
