π₯πNew Friendship system- How to request Lives and Boosters?

Attention Soda players, we have a new update to the Friendship system! π₯π
With the new update to the Friendship System youβll be able to ask your friends for Boosters and Lives. Youβll also get rewarded for playing features with friends, such as, Shipmates, 4-in-a-row and Rescue Buddies.
π How does it work?
To get to the Friendship System in Soda, you simply need to press the Social icon in your game.
Add your friends as usual to get them in your Friend List. In order to ask your friends for help you need to collect the new social currency - Stamps ποΈ. To earn more Stamps you can play features with your friends. Right now only Shipmates reward you with more Stamps.
πHow do you request Boosters and Live from your friends?
Simply go to the Social Icon, check you have enough Stamps ποΈ and choose Ask for Lives β€οΈ or Ask for Boosters π¬. Once a friend helps you out, the Booster or the Life will automatically arrive in your game.
Help your friends outΒ
You can also send Boosters and Lives to your friends and help them out. Make sure you check the Social icon and see what your friends need. If you choose to help a friend you donβt need to spend Stamps, instead you will earn extra Stamps for yourself so that you can make more requests in the future.Β

π I cannot see the Social Icon in my game!
It can sometimes happen that the Social Icon is not visible in your game. In that case, please restart the app and play 2-3 levels- the icon should reappear!

πHow can I receive more Boosters and Lives in the game?
The more, the merrier! Invite friends to your friend list- the more friends you have, the better chances to get a sweet gift from them.Β
Do you need more friends? Just ask your Community friends π

I don't understand, as all my lives are gone and I can't play at all, my only option is to pay for lives when I had plenty of lives from my friends, this doesn't work, nor is it fair all my lives were taken away and the pay icon is up for me to purchase 5 more lives.

Yes, now life and booster sent to us are accessibile inside Social Hub only.
With this update, the main option is still to ask our friends. Unfortunately we get to receive one life and/or one booster at a time so we're not able to store lives like we used to, especially since we can't send lives requests if we already have our lives full or unlimited lives.
It might take some time until our friends go online and see our requests so the only way to reduce waiting time and get quicker responses overall is to build up our friends lists by adding dozens, if not hundreds, of friends. π
