Since the new “social” has appeared onscreen I “help” at least ten times a day with lives and boosters . But I don’t think my requests are visible ?
You’ve turned this game into trash if this continues I will just delete and find another game
Not exactly when appear at that time. But error message appear when i start the game or wanna get present from thick the tile.
I want my lives back.. nobody is ever online when I am to send me any lives through the terrible new system. plus my episode race isn't working for some reason.

Which device do you use to play Soda? Make and model please
Do you see any error messages displayed in the game?
How many friends are in your friends list, more or less?
what is your game ID number? Here's how to find it

Like the old way better to get lives, Not playing the game as much now because of having to wait for lives.

If you own Android mobile, visit device Settings - Apps - Candy Crush Soda Saga - Storage - Clear Cache. Be careful not to click "clear data" which deletes your boosters
If you own Apple mobile, visit Settings - Safari - Clear History and Website Data
If you own a Kindle fire, check this out
