The game continues to tell there is a connection problem

I can't progress on the game as it tells me there is a co section problem

I am getting the same problem, and cannot collect my rewards on special events, message says there is a connection problem,or something went wrong, or cannot reach server, have done all the obvious things, clearing cache, logging off and back on, turning my device off and on, so help

What can I do when I lose connection in the game?

Also, do you see "there was a connection error, try again in a bit"?
