Shipmates? I’m playing alone

Before Xmas we could see who our shipmates were and could see if they hit an opposing ship. Since then, I am the only one shooting and/or sinking a ship. This is not fun and I find myself skipping opportunities to play because playing is only based on if I win a level.

That's right, there's a different version of Shipmates where players don't shoot with pins sent by crew anymore. Players need to pass new levels to earn pins themselves and shoot.

That’s too bad. I enjoyed playing that way. I guess I won’t play Shipmates anymore. Thank you
