Don't focus on the sides but on the bottom where the bottles will pop. Make sure you get rid of the bottom peppermint stick as quickly as possible. Then you can use striped candy or a combo of striped+wrapped candy to hit the bottom square so that you hit either the bottle or the licorice. Again, try to avoid the sides as much as you can; fish removes the licorice first instead of bottles.
