Shipmates, why did you change it?

The shipmates game used to be where I could pick my opponents based on the number of levels they have beat. Now it is in alpha order, with no numbers and I have not been able to play this game because the people I pick are duds. They don't play. Why did you change a game that worked? Another way to discourage people from playing your game? It makes no sense to me.

You can click their profile pics in your list, and then their profile will tell you if they player is currently online or offline in the game. I have noticed the names, of who I usually end up picking for my Shipmates, based on them actively being online, but also where they're from (country).
So when I pick shipmates for a new game, I look for my usual names, check amongst those who is on online, or who I know will likely be online later in the day (also if less than 4 is online), so there might be new cannon balls waiting for me later.

how do you get level pins?

@DanishWolf , I know what you mean, I also follow their online time, compile a list for myself for those who is usually online am, pm, or evening.

I will have to let time run out, all the people on my game are duds. I am not able to tell if they play on line or not, every time I look, they are all offline. I think I will try and find people that are in my country (USA) and see if they play. Thanks again, but still want to know why the game was changed to this?

The Shipmates has a timer now, therefore this situation will happen every time the game refresh.
You can create a new account and then provide the cannonballs by yourself.

@michimune , I still have the old version, but funny enough, a couple of times, the game itself says times up, and I either gain some boosters or I am told my ship got sunk, how strange. However, I don’t get shipmate everyday either.

Your original account is diannafa, you can create a new account called dianna. Diannafa add dianna as a friend and then choose her in Shipmates. Pass new levels by dianna, diannafa has cannonballs to shoot opponent.
Dianna pass new levels for diannafa and then diannafa pass new levels for dianna.
