Hey there, there will be no penalties for the team for inactive members. The only reason we specify "participating" members in the main post is that we want members who are a part of the challenge to be rewarded for it and not just join passively and not contribute to the team for the weekly rewards.
If there's a case to be made that this challenge is hard to make so that all members can participate due to the score limit, we'll of course account for that at the end and make sure that as many as possible can participate in the reward.
