I have 5 soda bottles and I'm playing the game, but I lose the first round. In the past I would still retain the other 4 bottles now they all disappear.

Whenever I get rewards they automatically go onto the next game and get used very quickly. I do not want to use them all the time or all together. This seems to be a recent change. If I've paid for rewards and play 5 games they have gone straight away!
