Unfortunately we haven't been able to replicate or found a permanent fix for this issue, however - the workaround shown in the main post should help in terms of making a better experience for you.

We'll continue to investigate and see if we can fix this, and if we do - we'll update this post in the future.

I see my picture used by others as well. I have complained a lot. I do not like it at all. It’s creepy and makes it look like you are playing with different profiles. I’m about to throw in the towel and say goodbye to king. This has been going on for over a year!

I've tried the steps, but my personal photo of my pup is still being used for other players! This is on windows. I definitely do not like it as it is my own personal photo!
