Hi Soda Squad! 🍬
From new features to gameplay improvements and sneak peeks at future ideas, we wanted to share some of what’s been happening behind the scenes this summer ☀️
We’d also LOVE to hear what YOU’ve enjoyed most so far, and what you'd still like to see in Soda!
✨ What’s arrived in Soda during 2026? 👀
Since some of this stuff is old news for fans in here… we put these parts in toggle blocks - tap or click on them to read more about the section you'd like to know about!
Soda League brought a more competitive experience to the game, with progression between leagues and bigger rewards as you climb higher!
This year, Soda officially reached Level 19000, a huge milestone for the game and the community! Every level released is built thanks to the passion, feedback, and dedication of Soda players around the world, so thank you for continuing the journey with us. IF you've completed Level 19000, you can collect your badge here!
We’ve also started introducing Dynamic Widgets into the game map. These are designed to make events, rewards, and progression feel easier to follow directly from the map itself, helping reduce interruptions and making important information clearer while you play!
Some players may have seen Soda Islands during testing — a feature where you explored islands and collected rewards along the way. The feature is currently paused, but your feedback helped the team learn a lot 💜
Another area we’ve been working on is gameplay clarity.
Earlier this year, new Soda Bottles arrived to help make the easier to see and understand during gameplay especially during busy and complex levels!
🎉 Throughout 2026, the team has also been working on improving how events flow together in Soda, helping the game feel less crowded and making it easier to enjoy different events without too much overlap. We’ll keep improving this experience over time 💜
🔮 What’s on the horizon?
As always, features may change or arrive at different times for different players while testing continues, but here are some things currently being explored for Soda’s future…
🚀 Rocket Rush is getting an update
Something new is coming to Rocket Rush, we've gotten a lot of feedback on this event lately, and we hope you'll look forward it! 💬 Here's a bit of a teaser of a new screen, can you notice anything different in it? 👀☁
🎈 Soda Balloon Booster
A brand-new booster currently being tested that can create explosive impacts on the board and help shake up gameplay in exciting ways. We'll share more about this once it's ready…
🐻 Hungry Bear Mini-Game
A new side activity where players can collect tokens while playing Soda and use them in a special mini-game to earn rewards. Here's a sneak-peak for you! 💬 Can you guess how it will be played? 👀🎣
🐻 The Bears are stepping into the spotlight
You may have noticed some updated Soda Bear designs appearing around Soda recently! 🐻
The team has been exploring more expressive animations and personalities for the Bears and we’ve loved seeing your reactions so far 💬 What do you think of the new designs? 👀🧸
🍯 New gameplay experiments
You may also notice occasional gameplay tests including new visuals for blockers like Honey and Ice.
Not every test becomes a permanent feature, but testing helps the team learn what feels the most fun, rewarding, and satisfying for players!
✨ New visual effects
The studio hasn't only been working on the visuals of the blockers, but also the effects in the game overall! Things in Soda are about to look a lot more juicy and fun!
Here you can see a bunch of new effects, it might not look like much, but it feels a lot better when you see it in your game!
Some blockers are also getting an upgrade as well, to capture just how sweet and Sodalicious they are!
💬 Now we want to hear from YOU!
Which feature, or improvement have you enjoyed most in Soda this year? And what would you still love to see added in the future? 👀
