Welcome to our Soda Weekly Chat!

This week, we’re talking about special candies. You know those moments when you start a level and see a special candy waiting on the board? 👀

I always tell myself: “I’ll save this one for the perfect move!” 🐻

But then… it gets matched before I can use it. This happened to me a lot during last week’s Live Play Session. 😅 So therefore, let's take a look at this weeks question!

It's a pity that the new level of CCSS has changed a lot these days. In the past, the level difficulty was moderate, so it could be easy, especially for players like me who are aiming for three stars, but these days, the level itself has become very difficult, so it's a time when creating special candy combinations, it's necessary to create mechanisms considering what's going to happen in the future. What do you guys think? 😊

Now that I'm playing Candy Soda again, I can also participate in Candy Soda again. In principle, it was hard to answer a question. For me, it's always about the 2 balls that you have to bring together. If I still have hands or lollipops, I bring them together. Otherwise, if they're scattered and I have no chance of bringing them together, then I take the boosters right away, because otherwise there's no point in waiting. I'm always just concerned with the 2 balls. The other boosters don't matter to me then.

It really depends on the level and how these special candies are positioned on the board.

If it's too tricky to match them into a special combo rapidly, I will use them right away. With coloring candies and colour bomb, luckily they can generate new special candies in better positions to be used later! 😋

I save it but not more than 3 to 5 moves. Because I remember I read tips from somewhere it's not recommend to save special candies for too long.

I save it. So a hard/tricky level when I use too soon, I maybe can’t pass this level

I try to save special candies for whenever I want to make a combination. It usually works as intended.

I am always happy to see special Candies especially the Charged candy and the Coloring candy on the board but they are not next to each other sometimes. I try to make a move to maneuver one beside the other but it hardly works because the cascade will happen and ruin the strategy. I usually use a hand switch or lollipop hammer if I can spare to get the special Candies together which I think is 99.99% foolproof.
