You may have noticed that your levels are looking a little different lately... 👀

We’re testing a new look for the information and buttons you see while playing a level, and the test is now reaching more players!

What’s different?

With the new design, you may notice:

Your moves and level goal have a fresh new look and are easier to spot.
A Soda bear has joined you during the level! 🐻 Keep an eye on your new companion as you play.
The Booster area has been refreshed, with updated icons and a new layout.
The Settings button has moved to a new position.

The way you play your level hasn’t changed, this test is all about giving the screen a fresh look and making the most important information easier to find.

As this is a test, not everyone will see the same version. And, as always with tests, what you see may continue to change as we learn what works best.

If you haven't done that already, try going to settings in the game and disable haptics (the button that picture waves around a phone.)

But sadly, you won't find buttons to reverse the recent changes to the game with the terrible bear and the lack of moves.

This game isn't any fun anymore. I've already reduced my daily time on this game, and will continue to do so. The only way to complete a level is to have the color bomb and the coloring bomb next to each other in less than 2 moves in many cases, and that doesn't guarantee anything if you are moved to the next screen.

I don’t like your new design. The bear is awful! Screams, shouts during the game, and a sour, mocking FACE at the end of the game when the level isn’t completed. Better bring back the normal number of moves to REALLY improve the game. That’s exactly what’s needed. You can see and you KNOW yourself that reducing the number of moves has made the levels unbeatable.

I keep checking every day hoping the bear will be gone. Sigh, All I can think with all the recent negative changes, like less lives, fewer free boosters and no this horrible childish bear mocking our play is that King or its developers really wants players to stop playing.

I just got the new version, not crazy about the noises the bear makes. Also, for those that like to compete in contests here, there isn't any score visible, which will limit the types of contests.

To be exact with the request, the icons were smaller and the top section was nicer. Those things we should have back. The look of the bar across the top. And the size of the candy on the board.

I’ve got the new look ready; I just need to add the level number and decide where Sprinkleshell will be placed on the board—since it hasn't appeared in the last few levels, I'm wondering if it's being discontinued.

I hate the new look with a passion. Why? Why? Why? Please don't mess with good thing!!!

I will attempt to be more articulate: those of us who have been playing this game (or your other games) for thousands of levels find a comfort in the familiarity. It's something reliable we can come back to that is nonetheless always varied. By changing the look of the game you are diminishing its value.
