I was over 278 days straight, did not miss ANY days and as of yesterday was kicked back to day 1. Logged on this morning and it told me that I had missed a day again. WTH is wrong with this game?

I’m sorry you had this experience 😔 More players mentioned it (I too had the same experience and I’m sure I didn’t miss a day), and we have reported this. So far no update yet, sorry.
Fortunately, you keep the Daily Bonus and on day 7 you also have 30 minutes of unlimited lives back 🙂
