Hi!
No worries 😀 I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the game! If you'd like to know more about it, don't hesitate to ask 👍️
I'm not trying to compete either to be honest. Instead of playing against others, I play for myself and aim to unlock a Trophy in order to make my Soda profile more interesting and pretty for me. A Trophy is an in-game badge that symbolizes one specific Soda Cup event to keep as a memento. Yeah, I'm simple like that 😆
though collecting community badges is easier. odds are against us @simplyP 😆
@_Elsa_ I don't think so, it's fair to have questions, there's a lot going on in Soda Cup 😃
by winning a new level you earn crown points.
It's like playing Kimmy's Candy Hunt/CandyCannon/Ice Fishing events etc but instead of collecting candies in new levels, you collect crown points.
There's a major difference among the events though: the amount of crowns to be collected in one level is predetermined and can't be influenced by the player perfomance inside the level, so it can be displayed before playing that level and winning it. Because those 34 are the crowns you're going to get, no matter how high you score or how many stars you win in that specific level.
In Kimmy's events, the game will display the amount of candies collected only after beating new levels because the event doesn't know your performance beforehand and does consider how good you are at forming fish, wrapped candies etc in each level.
You'll see different amounts of crown points displayed on level previews because levels have different difficulty. Crowns points are calculated by an algorithm that considers difficulty of the specific level. The higher the difficulty is, the more crowns points the level corresponds to.
So I may have confused you before when I sounded suprised you we were getting higher amounts of crowns than what I expected.
CM told us classic levels (same range of difficulty on paper) may have slight different amounts of crowns because small difficulty differences are detected even among classic levels too and a bit more or less crowns points can be assigned based on that. Same thing for Hard/Super Hard/Ultra Hard levels.
But if you get 34 in a classic level and I get 16 in a classic level, then this is no slight difference at all so I'm more inclined to think we're in different test groups of Soda Cup altogether 😅
Hope what I wrote makes sense 😅
