Why does the Ad Timer not work properly?

The Ads are showing the X button well before the timer is complete so if you click it, it isn't giving the rewards. Also if you click Repetitive, and don't want to watch the same ad, or Irrelevant, or Offensive etc... you lose your rewards. This shouldn't happen.
