This part of the game does not work properly as I and my opponent can have ships in the same square!!!
if that is the case, the whole thing is just trial and error!
Hello @CJP1 and welcome to Soda community!
You and your opponent can't have ships in the same square or tile.
That's because both of you have separate boards, there's also a button that allows you to switch.
You can't see where the opponent's ships are located on their board and your opponent can't see where your ships are located on your board.
That's why when you're hitting a tile with your cannon you're only taking a guess. It's how battleship game works.
