why was asking for help from friends changed?

I now have to request friends again and I can’t find any benefit from this.

I have played for years and am on level 4935. Like others, I've paid into this game for boosts and gold bars. I absolutely detest the new "social" update. Asking for 1 life at a time. Nope! I refuse to buy lives so I'm just not playing much. Thanks to this dreadful update, I've not been able to play as much due to lack of lives from friends and have now rediscovered how much I enjoy playing Cookie Jam Blast..Well done King, you're losing your Pro players because of your ridiculous upgrade. Put it back the way it was.

I hate this update. All of my lives are gone and now I need to start over requesting friends. Worst change ever!!!

First it was Candry Crush Saga and now Candy Crush Soda, it basically is ,"pay to play." I have given my share of money to these people, but no more. I quit Saga when they changed and now I guess I'll quit soda too.

These 2 games helped people with anxiety, but you have now taken that away.

We should all delete the app for a few days and see if they get the message.
