It seems like the reactions are not the same when you create matches and candies and bombs...like there are no explosions or sparkles. Hard to explain. Can I fix this?

Do you mean Candy Crush Soda Saga? In the past Soda Studio changed game animations and effects to speed up the game a bit, maybe you mean that? Changes like these can't be costumized or fixed by players, I'm afraid.
However players can costumize accessibility settings: you might want to visit your accessibility settings and check whether "remove flashing" option is currently active or not.
