🌊🏄‍♂️ Surf Season in Candy Crush Soda Saga

Surf’s Up in Soda! 🌊🏄‍♀️ In collaboration with the World Surf League, Soda Surf Season is here.

This Season is all about the Surf Tournament, so get ready to collect as many yellow Surf Candies as you can in September. The best player of them all will win a year long supply of Gold Bars 💰. For one lucky winner, a custom Soda surfboard 🏄‍♂️ signed by the top 10 surfers of World Surf League will also be up for grabs.

How do you play in the Tournament?

Play levels and collect as many yellow Surf Candies as you can. The players with the most Surf Candies on the leaderboard will progress to the next round.

Tournament schedule, September 7 - October 1, 2023.

September 7 - September 10.

🏄‍♂️ Wild Card Round 1

September 11 - September 13

🏄‍♂️ Eight Final

September 15 - September 17

🏄‍♂️ Wild Card Round 2

September 19 - September 20

🏄‍♂️ Quarter Final

September 22 - September 24

🏄‍♂️ Semi Final

September 26 - September 27

🏄‍♂️ Final 🎉🎉🎉

September 29 - October 1

@DieOmimi, @Yosca I didn't see any leaderboard when I was playing on CC soda. I would like to try to get into the tournament. Thanks.

The idea of surfing championships is basically good. It is less suitable for players at the end of the map. I had saved a few levels and had played 120 levels in a few days during the event. I just got to 3rd place with that. It's no wonder when you're up against players who have just started:

I guess the journey is over for me. I don't have enough levels to compete in the quarter-finals or semi-finals.

For further championships, I would like to see the player groups put together better. What I mean by this is that the progress in the game is taken into account and I don't get into a group with beginners. It's definitely not fun that way!

Hi Werner_Cichy,

We’re aware of this issue that can happen to some players and are working on solving it. When playing a level and collecting yellow Surf Candies it is possible that the candies are not successfully collected. If you run into this issue, you can restart your game and continue to play one or two levels for the collection of candies to start working again!

First of all, please make sure your game is up to date to the latest game version. If your game is updated and you still don't see Surf Season, don't worry it doesn't have to be an error. With so many fun features and events in Soda - not every player will get every feature.

We try to keep our events balanced, manageable, and visible to as many players as possible, so everyone gets to try new things. Chances are that you'll have another event in your game when other players don't, so rest assured we'll always try to make sure you don't miss out on the fun!

Keep an eye on your notifications, pop-ups, and map buttons to know when you have new content in your game.
