When I click on the social icon it just takes me to my personal contacts

That's correct, players have the option to send their friend requests (invite links) to their contacts.
You may opt for "copy" action to copy the invite link and paste it everywhere you want to share it. In this forum we have this discussion were we share (paste) our friend requests so other users can click on it and add us
Additionally we have the option to send invites to players we meet in Soda events (Soda Team, 4 in a row, weekly contest, Kimmy's Candy Hunt, Shipmates, Soda Cup etc)
Simply click on their avatar pictures and select "add friend". more infos here

My games no longer show events, avatar, nor coins
I play my five levels, it shows I will get five extra when it goes fishing. And them it only gives me 1 extra lives life.
when I did login using facebook I ve lost my 24 hours boosters
