In the bonus section, in medium pass, I’m not getting the claims that I select. Today I didn’t get the coloring candy and yesterday I didn’t get the fish. Also, I keep sending rewards to “friends” but don’t know how to ask for them for myself.

It's not possible to send rewards to friends.We can send them only lives.
In order to ask for lives, click on the heart icon when you lost some of your lives, visit get "get help" section and click on "ask friends" blue button

As for the pass I'm not sure I understand the situation, would you please take a screenshot of what you see in the game?
