Hi friends, I have not been around much this week as I am already in the starting blocks for Christmas. Planning and shopping as much as possible so that we do not end up in shops with zillion of people just before "C" day. Today I leave for the family house near Paris my truck full of presents and food ๐ .
We keep the Christmas lunch menu close to family traditions with smoked salmon and blinis, guinea fowl and chestnuts and iced yule log. We will tap on creativity for the aperitive nibbles such as home made veggie "foie gras" (really delicious) various pastry salty rolls, and veggie spreads.

I've recently relocated. So I'm not going to spend Christmas with my family or friends this year. Since I will be working there's no telling what I'd have for Christmas dinner. But I sure am going to miss my mom's prime rib!

I missed out on the previous chats, due to tagging issues. This is my 4th time trying to post this. Hopefully it won't land in the draft folder on here.
My plans for Christmas is to stay home with my daughter. I will be cooking a pork roast instead of a ham like I normally due. The reason for the switch is cause I have a tendency to mess up the ham. I have no idea what I do to that poor ham. I follow cooking instructions on the net and I still can't cook it right. I hope I don't mess up the roast. ๐

When you have stars you can redeem for rewards on island ,the bubble doesnt come up so you can redeem them. I have 100 stars but no bubble to get to island . Uninstalled and reinstalled, reset my phone with no results.
