Sorry for not responding @SApple2. I'm failing to answer some things and I apologise.
My husband was asleep when I went into the kitchen to.prepare lunch today and, just as I was about to take it to him, there was a loud bang and he had fallen. He is so used to being independent that he won't wait for help and tries to do things he shouldn't. He's now in bed, so I have a little time to myself.

They are very frightening, as it's not always immediately apparent what is going on if there are no classic signs and I'm afraid of wasting valuable time. I've been told to keep ringing the emergency services if I have the slightest suspicion that he may be having a TIA - and, to date, the paramedics have been wonderful. Praise the Lord!

I never bothered with doing a backup before play cuz my booster count doesn’t change much from one day to the next. I just use the latest backup by the system. When I do backup, everything came back the same. Just like nothing happened 😁
Haha, yeah I do have an extra iPad (older model) and always use iCloud backups with a new device. To be on the safe side, do you first make a backup again, then you lose your boosters haha, reset and restore everything via iCloud? 😅 What I'm afraid of is everything being messed up (so my notes, email etc) 😱 It's a good idea to try it out on my old iPad Thanks.

This is PM to @Yosca (if you’re not her, please don’t read 😂)
First make sure that backup to iCloud is on (you can check it in your Apple ID) Then go to settings/general tab. At the bottom you will see “transfer or reset iPad “ …follow erase all contents. It will try to do a new backup, but cancel it. You don’t need a backup with no boosters 🤪 once you done that, your iPad is “new”. Then follow instructions and select to restore with iCloud backup. My soda app is the last app to finished cuz it’s very large, it takes more than 30 minutes to an hour to complete. Don’t know why it’s so large. Too many boosters, I guess 🤷♂️😂

if you have a spare iPad, try on that one first 😁
@simplyP I wonder how you do that. I'm not a tech nerd at all and I have sometimes considered using a backup of my iPad 🤭 But then you have to uninstall the game app and then reinstall the app with your backup 🤔? Seriously, I've considered it haha, but I don't dare because I'm afraid everything will get confused (email, other games, notes, etc.) 😅

yes, it’s true that I never lose any boosters. All that data is kept in iCloud. When I get a new iPhone and use backup file, all info is transfer to the new phone. It’s great!

When I played an event and exhausted most on my boosters, then I replenished them by using backup. I won the event and still have all my boosters.
