Daily bonus streak reset??

My daily bonus was reset. I have been playing consecutively for 200+days, I had a few days where I missed but always paid to keep my streak. I played yesterday morning (Feb 20) and everything was fine. When I played in the evening it had reset to day 1. I went to play today and it's at day 2.
Why did my progress get reset? Even if I had missed a day, it should have given me an option to pay to keep it.
Frustrated with the game lately!!
