In,the save the bear game I saved 7 and my partner saved one but once,the event was over it just disappeared. Shouldn’t I have received a prize?

Were you able to set the bear free in Rescue Buddies event?
When the bear is set free, prize is immediately awarded as it doesn't wait for the event deadline. This means the event is completed successfully and you'll see a screen displaying the message: congratulations, you set the bear free!.
If the bear has not been released by the time the event ends, the event is not completed so it disappears without sending any prize or any message
You fired the cannon 7 times to hit 7 out of 9 bubblegum pins that hold 1 bear. you and your partner didn't save 7+1 bears 🙂
The bear was probably still trapped by the 9th bubblegum pin when the event run out of time.
in my Rescue Buddies event the total number of targets is 9, not 8
