I played the game yesterday,but it didn’t register. How do I avoid losing my streak?

Thanks for responding. I go into the game at least once per day… yesterday, when I went in, I got a message saying I didn’t play the day before, so I lost my streak. I was connected to the internet. Dumb question, but how do I check my player ID? I have had this game for quite a while, and I’m sure I had one, but yesterday I created “ughseriously” because I couldn’t figure out why my streak was lost. 🤦🏼♀️
