Hey there!
As there are many different types of scenarios involved, both in terms of what players see in the game due to tests - but also if they qualified or not - it's hard to give a blanket statement that works for all scenarios.
If players are seeing the Second Chance of the Soda Cup event, but the candies aren't being counted - we'd like to take a closer look at that and fix it if possible! Should a player miss out on qualification due to a problem like this, we'll take a look at it and handle it case by case.
If they have played the Semis and qualified for the Finals, then no they shouldn't have the Second Chance in their game as they've already passed this round.

As for the candies not being counted, I've reported this to the studio. It's very unfortunate that it happens, but I'll do my best to communicate it to those who might be able to fix it! @Yosca @Amoonmoon

My comment was mainly to clarify that it is not yet the finals. In your opening post you claimed that the finals are “happening now” which is not accurate, the finals are taking place on August 22nd as per the Admin’s announcement post. Just didn’t want everyone freaking out because they’ve yet to see the finals leaderboard in-game.

My game is crashing after the update now it is very slow its response is slow and the board is blinking like this 😤😮💨

I am sorry you have this error. But thanks for your information. I will not update my Soda awhile.
As we are classified to different test groups, we are used to test new features, new activities or NEW VERSION. Therefore I no longer update my Soda immediately after a new version is released. I will wait for other players' feedback before I update.
I have a similar nightmare before. I have learnt a lesson.
