As mentioned earlier @Courtney1990 I am not in charge of this decision, the studio is. I have passed on the word however, and I'll close this discussion now as it goes in circles.
You're free to make a thread about this in the "Ideas" section to rally other community members and gather support for this change though!

Hi there, when you do go back, does the game close completely for you? It would be great to know which platform you're having issues with as well.
I used to be able to hit my back button on the main page and the option to quit would pop up, this no longer works with soda crush but still works with jelly and saga. I am using android 14 and UI 6.1
Please go back to the original way please. Because in this pic the red button is missing

Could I ask for more context as to why you'd like the button back in the game and not use the solution that Yosca provided earlier in this thread? Thanks you for letting us know!

We don’t have influence on this. But, when you are in the game, swipe up and you can press the home button on your Samsung. This makes it very easy to leave the game.
