I have cleared the Cache. I have restarted the device (android tablet). Google Play does not show that there is an updated version. I have plenty of storage. Am using Wifi. NONE of your suggestions helped, I had already tried them all.

I don't think it is extremely widespread but it is serious. 13,000 levels and dozens of boosters gonzo. I even tried to Save Progress from Level 1 to see if I could create a new King account, but got "Cannot Connect". Shop is "No internet connection". Until I can login to my existing account, that's it. I want my boosters back. Worked hard for all those super lollipops and earned double-click on special candies.
I am suspicous if it is no longer working on Android 7. Does anyone else with the problem have that version of Android?

I don't know which version number of Soda I have (or how to find out).

Yes. I play on two different devices. Same account. The progress usually transfers but lately on my mobile device it says "no internet connection" although i have it. I have tried everything I can think of. Log out, turn off, restart, empty cache. It is Android 7. I even went so far as writing the King support. The answer I got had nothing to do with what I asked and was useless. Since so many people have this problem, it must be because of some update or similar within the game

@u__ Android 7 may be the common denominator. At least that's 2 of us. Either they will attempt to resolve the technical issue preventing connection on Android 7 or they will say screw it (us)and just up the minimum Android to 8.
And speaking of "some update" causing it, I have my Android Play settings to NOT automatically update apps, but seems King does not honor that setting and they update whenever they want — at least partially like whatever this change was. It wasn't me updating my version of CCSS that's for sure.
