Says a skipped day incorrectly

I keep having a problem with both candy crush and candy crush soda. I get to a point and then it says I skipped a day when I didn't, then makes me start over. This has happened a few times with each game I don't know what glitch is causing it.

Did you check latest version of your game and device software update?
Please try following steps
Clear cache of your game and try to free atleast 2 gb device storage.
Restart device, Logout device switch off device atleast 2 mins and login
If don't work please mention your game I'd, device name, OS version game version
