the chocolate ball doesn't spread any jam.

That is how I finally beat it. For some reason I tried clicking on the chocolate color bomb. In later levels the double click works for fish, striped & wrapped candies also.
Hi there, now you can activate the color bomb by double click on it. It should working.
Same issue here. Only way to spread jam is when there is a fish of the same color in the field and use the chocolate ball on it. Any other way doesn't spread the jam.
I don't like to either but I can get to the next game.
i refuse to use my boosters on this level
I always use a booster to hit the chocolate ball before it spreads the jam.
i finally got past the level when there was a green candy at the top, and below i was able to get a chocolate ball and a striped green candy together. That made the green candy at the top into a striped one which spread a line of jam. I dont know what the odds are of getting this combination but it took me probably a hundred tries. Doesn't seem right. Thank you.

In other words the game either isn't working or it is deliberately cheating. The only time the Jelly spreads is if I use a booster from my collection to smack it.
I have the same problem with the chocolate ball that appears at the top center not spreading the jam or jelly whatever that purple stuff is.
@Ccallstars the ball is supposed to spread jam when you hit it, right?

yes, i took a screen recording but it says mp4 not supported, tried to get a screenshot of when the chocolate ball destroys the candy and the lack of jam left behind.
