This is an unwelcome change. We chat and thank our team for baking cake layers, just plain old socializing. Make cake baking fun again!!!!!
I have two team friends with whom I chat to daily,as more mature people we have now lost that ability,are you really taking our friendship away? 😔 Are we to be pushed back into loneliness just because someone thinks it's a good idea? Please put this feature back I enjoyed our chats everyday keeping us connected, I miss talking to my friends

If you follow my trick, you can get huge amounts of rewards from ONE cake not very little rewards.
Please bring the CHAT back to the Bake a Cake!!!
Also why is there so mAny levels to bake on the cake for very little reward... Don't take me wrong I love this game CCSS I'm over level 14400, been playing for YEARS!

I don't know how to answer your question as I am not one of the programmers in the Studio. But programmers have to follow the decision made by their boss.
Different kinds of people make different kinds of decisions. Smart guy has a smart decision. So what kind of person you think he is?😜
Removing the chat function in team activity is the first provocative changes in 2025
My other question is why did you split the team feature for Bake a Cake up into 2 places instead of leaving it all in one place? This is very much a time-wasting change!

The communication function is a core value in the Team Activity.
The Studio has decided to remove this function, it will be the first nightmare to all players in 2025.
Many online game which needs the cooperation of every player has this function to add value to the game, but this core value of team activity has been removed from Candy Crush Soda. I don't know how to comment this decision.
"I hope that you can connect outside of the game like here on the forum to continue bonding as a team when you're not playing." After removing this function, it is encouraging players to use other instant communication app to fill the gap, it is very ridiculous!😂🤣
Why is the chat feature being taken off teams,how are we supposed to interact with each other, I cannot talk to my friends because the chat has been taken away,please put this right
You will still be able to request and send lives and see updates for the team as per previously, but as you say here, the text is currently now unavailable. I'm sorry to hear that blocks the team communication but thank you for posting your feedback here on the forum so I can report it to the studio.
As mentioned to Smessyrn above, you should still have some functionality in the news tab to be able to help your teammates and get updates on the team. You're free to share you thoughts here though, and if you have any suggestions otherwise on how the news tab can be improved.
Sorry, but this is a terrible decision. We have players from all over with no issues and many don't enter the community here. They play to enjoy the game, not the games played here 🙄 We need to be able to share!! Having a tab labeled "news" that has NO function / purpose is ridiculous. There is nothing there and nothing can be entered. Exactly who is supposed to use this "news" tab? 🤷♀️🤦♀️

So, are you telling us that we can’t communicate with our team members inside the game anymore? That doesn’t seem like a good idea! My team is very communicative together, so this is a BIG problem!!

The "chat" function in teams was recently changed to "news" as a part of an initiative to ensure that all features in Soda follows an accessibility standard (in short terms, to make it as accessible for all types of players).
I understand though that this may not be super nice for teams that primarily had their communications in this section of the game. I hope that you can connect outside of the game like here on the forum to continue bonding as a team when you're not playing.

Chat is wonderful. Or it was before it was removed! It’s a reason to be in a team….we chat, we’re a team and we encourage each other….Not any more apparently. Why has it been removed
