I'm getting my tablet back tomorrow, and I hope they managed to fix it so it runs without any issues. It's been a long 3 weeks. Then comes the time to collect boosters on it all over again, since my data will be erased.

I'm glad you caught it in time. Kudos to you for recognizing that this tick bite felt different.
Good idea. They can detect the infection with a blood test, but since the cure only works if given the first 72 hours, I don't know if they could turn the lab around fast enough.
They'll give you the dose if they think it's a good idea.
