I have the same issue, and ads are no longer even being offered to me.

This started about 2 days ago.
I have cleared the app cache, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, updated game and device, cleared ad id on device.
Player id 7097808862
Date time July 5th 8:10 pm cdt
No ad was displayed, problem pops up as sóon as the play button is pressed.

Other than that I also recommend to check that you have a stable internet connection and that you have the latest version of the game.
