“No connection to internet”. - Reported!

Last 2 days, candy crush soda “no internet connection” . Fine on candy crush.

I am also waiting for this reply. I am Connected but when I try to use helps like special bonuses le start with Freckle or look how going in my group it says NOT CONNECTED TO INTERNET< or Wait til you are connected to the internet. I look forward to a QUICK answer both here

Hello @ruthbg Hearty Welcome to our friendly King Community :)

I am very sorry to hear about the issue in your game!

Unfortunately, we do not know why this issue occurs but, the ONLY remedy left for us to solve this issue is to "Delete and Reinstall the game App"!! It always resolves the issue but, the down-side, we will loose all our saved up boosters and the Lives received from our friends!

So, if you would like to go with the Re-installation, please follow these steps ---> Delete the App --> Disconnect from the WiFi ---> Clear Cache / Cookies ---> Restart your device after shutting it down for few minutes ---> Connect to WiFi ---> Install the App and log-into your Kingdom or Facebook account.

Your game should be all better and work properly now! If it doesn't help you, please come back and post by tapping on the empty Comment box located below.

Hope everything works out fine! Have a great rest of the day/evening!

The connection issue is still under investigation as this is something we have been unable to reproduce!

We have tested this on multiple devices with different operating systems, with Wifi and mobile data and we can't find the issue.

Disclaimer - What can affect connectivity:

- If you're commuting
- If the area were you're located is not remote
- if you are on VPN
- If your mobile data plan has reached the monthly allowance

So this is what we recommend:

Android - Delete the game app and clear Google Play Store cache:

1) Go to apps and find the app called 'Settings'

2) Locate the menu called 'Apps'

3) Scroll down till you find the 'Google Play Store'

4) From here click on 'Clear data' then clear cache.

Please notice that you will get a warning when clicking the 'Clear data' button - not to worry, it's just a reset.

5) Restart mobile and install the game and try connecting it to Facebook or King account.

Apple devices - Clear Safari cache:

- Disconnect the game from Facebook or King account (if connected).

- Delete Facebook App if you have it installed.

- Clear cache from your Safari: http://www.imore.com/how-clear-stored-website-data-ios-7-safari - (Super important).

- Restart the device and try connecting the game back to Facebook/ King account so your progress can sync.

Windows 10 - Reinstall the game app:

- How to reinstall!

Facebook:

- Try the steps here.

NOTE! Deleting the game app will mean that you will lose any saved boosters, lives your progress made on the Daily Bonus and other extra features.

Player Support will only be able to replace any lost purchased items and if this happens to you, please contact our support team directly from the game app:

- Open the game app

- Select the cogwheel

- Tap on the "?" mark

- Scroll or search for "Purchases and Gold Bars"

- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit "Contact Us"

hi, please help. I play candy crush, soda crush and farm hero’s and all 3 say connection issues - cannot connect to internet :-( I have a king account and when I try to log in, it says connection error, please try again. When I do, it always comes up with that message.

I have reset password and completed all the updates, but still error. Can you help me resolve this?

Hi, I am also getting internet connection error and it keeps prompting me to try again (but never works). Is this something that is happening to everyone or just some unlucky few

? Would like to get it solved ASAP as this is stopping me from getting a phone upgrade as I can’t save my progress. Please help.

I can't get my daily bonus it says I need internet connection and when I win things I can't get them because I need internet

I am having the same problem as most players. It say's I am not connected to the internet, and will save my progress for when I am connected. I can still play the game, so obviously I have internet connection, as I use my PC to play this game. For 3 days now this has been happening. Please can you sort this out, as I can not use any of my prizes for collecting sweets etc.

Hello there, I have this problem aswell. Candy Crush Saga, Soda and Jelly wont connect to the Internet... I cant log in into my King account and have no possibility to send lifes, participate in contests etc. just play. I can not even buy boosters, so I guess its in Kings interest to solve the problem... I am playing on Android and the internet connection loss is since june or even longer. 😐

Same issue on Apple iPhone 6.
its bizarre as I’m connected to mobile data. I’ve also tried connecting to wifi. Same issue. Says cant connect to internet but I clearly am - any further advise available yet?! It’s only on soda not any other candy crush. Feels a little like people are being ignored by the “support” here 🙈🙉🙊💩

I have unlimited internet on my phone but the game is refusing to connect so that I can see my progress on the leader board or race progress how do I fix this?

I have also been having the same issue for about a week. Elsa's flippant response for us to uninstall and reinstall knowing we will lose all boosters is absolutely unacceptable. The boosters I have now are hard won and we all know the rewards they're giving out these days are awful and not worth the time and effort it takes to earn them. I agree with nummymummy. I think this is a blatant and outrageous cash-grab, and if King thinks this will force us to buy more boosters, they don't know the mentality of their core users. If I am forced to uninstall to fix this issue I won't be reinstalling.

Thanks for all the reports guys, I've passed these on to the Studio so they are going to have a look at this.

We're not seeing any huge issues from our side that might be causing this so it's going to take some time before they can figure out what is happening.

In the meantime, you can still play and keep an eye out for future updates that might take care of this.

I also can't connect to the internet on my android for weeks now through 4g but it does let me connect through others peoples wifi as I dont have that in my house, I have cleared data on the game & on google play store like we were told...uninstalled, reinstalled & all that's done is took me right bk to the start because I can't connect to my saved data so it's not working & clearly I ain't the only one having problem's so please fix it.

Same here I am in the high 2500 levels on all 4 crush games. I doubt have FB and I have now lost internet connection... why? Very frustrating. I may do the same here.

I had the same problem on my iPhone, but it worked for me to go into settings on the phone, find the candy Crush soda app, and then i just had to allow mobile data.

I am having this same issue on my desktop computer. If I had no internet connection, I wouldn't be able to get into the game in the first place. Can someone please help to stop this from happening? Thanks!

I’m also having this problem across most of the king games I play. Deleted my candy crush saga and reinstalled. Would let me sign after reinstalling to Facebook but not my king account, where I had been playing. Lost around 1500 levels of progress. Afraid to do this on my other games. Any updates on getting this fixed????

I've had the same problem for the past week then read in the blog to uninstall and reinstall, I lost all 972 levels that I was on plus all of my extras! That's months of work! I am so upset.
And it still is having the same dang problem 😑
Thankfully progress is on another device, at least I hope it still is, lol. How do we rectify this?

This is getting a bit ridiculous, tbh. My grandma is playing king games on her tablet for a few years now. Lately the amount of bugs she encountered has increased immensly. First she couldn't receive hearts from friends in Candy Crush Jelly. No idea how to fix that. Since this morning Farm Heroes Super Saga and Candy Crush Soda won't connect to the internet. Three other king games are connected without a problem. So i've tried every troubleshooting solution I found here and nothing worked. I deinstalled Farm Heroes Super Saga and Candy Crush Soda, because I had no idea what else could fix it. Still had problems with connecting to her profile, but after 20 minutes or so of trying it worked. She has her progress back, but it definitely sucks that she lost all her boosters. Why doesn't it sinc the boosters with her profile as well?
I hope she doesn't have to deal with any more bugs, because its really annoying and I am not always there to deal with it.

Hi Linlou, glad to hear you were able to reconnect. Did you do anything differently? Most of my King games are still claiming to be offline. From what I’m reading, deleting and reinstalling doesn’t help...

I am interested to know how you were able to fix the problem.

Hi guys, welcome to our community. I would like to take a moment to offer you a message for all newbies to learn more about our community which you can find here. We always run contests so be sure to enter them for a chance to win gold bars.

Since I roam all Candy Crush communities to help the players I'm not sure which community I found this, but players who are getting the no wifi message can resolve it by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I do have to warn all of you that if you do uninstall the game you will lose all lives and boosters since they are only saved to that device.

Yeah but...I worked on remote based gaming for several global lotteries including Greece, Finland, Canada, and Illinois. If we updated a system which caused thousands of slot machines to go off line we would be fired and fined severely. Also we can't tell a bar with 6 machines in Moosejaw, Sascatchawan "My bad" and to delete and reload their program. These hacks don't deserve your business.

To delete and reinstall the game, knowing we will lose our place/boosters is a very disappointing and an unsatisfactory answer. Many of us have worked and enjoyed playing these games for a long time. We have spent a lot of money to get there and get our boosters. To now pull the plug on the internet connection to force us to re-buy our way back to where we were before smells of a ploy to make more money—dishonestly.
If I do decide to delete my games, I will not reinstall any of them. I’m not alone in feeling robbed here; I’m sure the software can be fixed to reconnect us.
