I agree, @Brady_Allison. If the cap of 5 sugar drops remains, I will have to change the way I play, or just quit entirely. I don't really play to advance; I like playing the older levels (that give sugar drops) and seeing which ones I can improve on…

The Chocolate Box is a bit like Mr. Toffee's Fair in CC Soda, if you play that. You don't play with other 'players' but you have to select a task (like collect 300 blue candies) and when you have 4 tasks completed you get a hammer, color bomb a…

Totally agree with the above. My concern is that the new "Chocolate Box" is going to replace the Sugar Drops as the primary way of increasing boosters.

I have Space Race. Don't know it it's the same as Space Dash. In any event, the sugar drops are back. I can tell there was a game 'reset' of sorts, just as there was earlier today. Still confused, but happy they're back!

So now I'm totally confused. I started getting timed boosters in June. Then about a week or so ago I found they were no longer timed! YAY! This is good since I play to collect sugar drops and started my daily collection this morning. But this aft…

@kattluver, I noticed that timed boosters seemed to be implemented incrementally, that is, not all players were affected at the same time. Perhaps the reverse process (reverting to regular boosters) is also incremental. Just a thought.

The timed boosters seemed to have been implemented in stages. Perhaps the return to normal is also progressing that way. Fingers crossed for you guys!

After two months of timed boosters and several days of being unable to play any King game via the FB gameroom, I now have regular boosters. No more timed boosters! So I think there is hope.

I am happy to report that I no longer have timed boosters!!!

Thank you for the welcome, @Elsa. There's definitely a pattern behind the orange soda, I just haven't figured it out, and since it's not on that many levels, I haven't had (or spent) much time to do so. Of course, the pattern might have some random…

On the wiki fandom page it says: "After each move, every blocker in the soda including jelly cakes will be decreased by one layer (except )." And I've noticed that sometimes the frozen squares lose a layer after a play but more often than not they …

I agree with @Dirty_Nurse. I don't think they are going to go back to untimed boosters. The newer games that I am familiar with have them. It probably makes it a lot easier for them in terms of the information they have to maintain for each user, wh…

RumellKhan123 said: Timed rewards are only useful to the player if s/he has any lives left and if the reward can actually be used in the level that is being played. More often than not, that is not the case.

@Werner_Cichy, thanks very much!
-
Thanks. Could you clarify who "they" is?
-
Werner, thanks. Apparently I'm not registered there, just at the community site and I can't find where to register. I'm wondering, though, if I have to start at the beginning if I'm creating a new account? Currently I'm around level 2580.

I'm curious what "old computer flash version" you are referring to? I play, via the FB Gameroom on a Win 7 computer.

I've been playing CC for a long time. At some point, my focus shifted to obtaining sugar drops; that was my daily goal. Once I started getting timed sugar drop rewards, I lost interest in playing. I went back to the game yesterday and saw that my da…

The point that people here and elsewhere are making is that timed rewards actually prevent people from collecting anything. Yes, currently, there may be many more ways to get rewards but their presence is fleeting and often useless.
