Yes, I usually do pick the hammer one and I also try to remember to stop the task when I am done playing so it unblocks the square in case someone else has lots of hammers to spare.

I think one of the reasons that people block squares in MTF is because when I don't click on one, I get pop-ups constantly saying "You haven't ticked on a square yet!" It has become so annoying that I admit I have taken a square with no intention of completing it just so the pop-up messages would stop.

I would like to know what the prize is for completing a row or column. Is there a specific reward for each row or column or is it random? If the team is trying to gather feedback on how the community likes the features and how to make them better, then they need to make sure everybody has something to play and react to.
