Quarterly earnings report for Activision stock was released August 8. Been reading through some of the news relating to that and found two interesting pieces of info to share. The first is a comment that I believe related to some of the changes in the game we’ve seen in the past few months, and the second is the report on…

Thank you @Xarly for the response. As for the random rewards, I don’t think it is an evil plot, but I do wish I’d paid more attention when we were learning about Skinner in psychology class. 😁

@Xarly, I’m not sure whether you can answer this, but I’m asking anyway. It seems that one of the results of all the changes to the game is that it has become more random or unpredictable. Is that the intention, or merely an unintended consequence? To to be clear, I’m not talking about the game levels themselves. The…

BGH is usually pretty kind to me, but not this week. I must have done something to irritate the Bubblegum Troll. 😁

Part 2...continued from previous post. Example: Removal of the Quests Since this was based on what the data was showing, my comment is based on that (and I have A LOT of experience with data). First, data is objective and interpretation of data can be subjective. In other words, in some cases data can be interpreted to…

Sound off. Don’t want to disturb others.

Thank you @Elsa for your kind words. The link you shared about the appearing and disappearing features was interesting. I noticed that it was originally posted several years ago and then edited in January. It’s an excellent explanation of the technical reasons behind appearing and disappearing features. I’ve been playing…
